I still need to get me one of those cancer bottles. Know where I can get one for cheap?
It is too late. Nalgene replaced the bottles with a new kind that doesn't use the same chemical to harden the plastic. Functionally, they are the same. The selection of colors leaves much to be desired though, and they are more expensive now.
I do wonder about the price increase though. Is it simply more expensive to manufacture the bottles now, or are they marking up and taking advantage of the craze? Does a more expensive bottle give a sense that it is a safe bottle? Did they, realizing they have a good chunk of the water bottle market, want to increase prices anyway, but thought the consumer base wouldn't go for it and now they're taking advantage of the opportunity? That last sentence was half of it's paragraph... such bad style.... Firefox • Konqueror • Safari • Opera note: Internet Explorer is not supported and may not render the pages properly. |
