Well, last nights bouldering trip got me all stoked to get up there, so we all (Jason, Jordan, Lars, and me) went up again around 6:45 this morning. This time we went up the road a little further, but not too much. Another great roadside bouldering area. It was deserted this morning, but It's really popular during the day, I would imagine. One of the greatest boulders on earth is up there. You start off on a jug like thing and have to dyno to this huge, yet not as good as you think it is, hold. After that, you think it's probabley over, but it's not. What we think is the crux consists of some slopy holds up the the top. It is insane. Photos were taken, they will be posted shortly. The rock itself is the coarsest granite I have ever delt with. It is rather painful after a while. My hands are preety raw as I type this. While bouldering is fun and all, I want badly to get up on a nice hand crack. I plan on leading bushwack crack preety soon.
